The story is set in Japan, where government agents are out there doing exorcisms like they are in a video game quest. The main character, Mizuki Shiraishi, is an exorcist from the Kinki Spiritual Affairs Bureau, and she rolls up to this creepy place called Saiga Village in Nara.
Right off the bat, she notices something's totally off—like, the entire village’s presence is MIA online. As she digs deeper, she realizes all the villagers have vanished and the place is crawling with sketchy spirits that are not just chilling; they are causing serious chaos. Plus, everything's been cut off—no electricity, no comms, no internet. Total blackout vibes.
But here’s where it gets wild: someone’s actually behind all this madness, pulling the strings like a boss. Shiraishi teams up with her radio-supporting mentor, Kohinata, and her junior partner, Maruoka, to unravel the mystery. You can feel the tension rising—she's got to figure out what's going down before it all goes south. It’s like being in a horror game where the stakes just keep getting higher, and you can’t help but feel a mix of fear and excitement! You may also be interested in the game Kvark.
